Requesting Advice for Thread Designing

I want to really get into thread designing and make decent / good thread designs. The ones I've made aren't that good and I'd like to change that. What do you suggest I do differently with the designs I've done? I'd like all constructive feedback as well as suggestions for things like fonts, maybe color schemes, background themes and things like that.

Honestly, it seems you're already quite good. The only part of your portfolio that does NOT look good, in my eyes, is the bottom left, the red one with the diagonal text. Exactly for the reason of the text being diagonal.

I agree, that one isn't really good. I was just trying to see what looks good and at the time, I thought it looked good. Now that I've moved to different things, I realize that it doesn't look good anymore. Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated!
