Multicraft is NOT needed at all; i would recommend a Dedi aswell
How so?

What's the difference between a Dedi and a host?

Pros and cons?

I can just be persuaded to use a Dedi because someone suggests it, support it!

Hey there -

My name is Wyatt T., and I am the Head of Operations for Ready2Frag.

If you're looking for a company that owns theirs own hardware, I can happily say that we're one of the (relatively) few in the game server hosting that can claim that. We own everything from our Cisco and Dell networking hardware to each individual stick of RAM in our nodes. All of our hardware is colocated in the Steadfast Networks 725 S. Wells facility in downtown Chicago, IL.

We recently changed our pricing to $8 / GB, but don't let that turn you away! We're offering 25% off any game server for life. Just use the "november" coupon code when you're ordering to make use of this great deal. For just $6 / GB (and $1.50 for a dedicated IP), your server is placed on Intel Xeon E3-1230v2 processors, DDR3 ECC RAM, Samsung SSDs in RAID-1, and 1Gbps Network Ports. We undersell our machines by at least 6GB RAM, and CPU usage is monitored so we can offer consistent performance to our customers.

We also offer plenty of free addons to help you get your community started - including free web hosting, a free 10-slot Mumble server, 45 days of Enjin Advanced, 30 days of Minetrends, free 4Gbps/4MPPS DDoS Protection, 24/7/365 support, and much more!

Come check us out, we'd love to have you.

We are thinking of releasing a hosting company, not only hosting help. PM me, and I can get you something for really cheap or even free. (We need people to test things). We will probably be reselling singlehop, or using our own servers in Czech (less likely).

I'm not one to sugarcoat so I'll be up front when I speak.

90% of hosts, registered businesses or not, resell from a larger provider such as ReliableSite, OVH, ColoCrossing, etc. Now, very rarely will you find a host that truly owns their hardware and knows what to provide to you. I'm not here to make any personal offers, just a minor suggestion.

If you have the money, use SnowStormServers. They're a bit more on the premium-priced side but it's because they own their hardware as well as producing a quality service. I've used them continuously over the period of a year varying from a budget server to now a large VPS. Honestly, you couldn't ask for more. Again, personal opinion, but they're likely your best option if you're not seeking a reseller host.

Regards,
Zach - Grumn
Thanks for the suggestions.

Shockbyte wouldn't be a bad choice. I use them currently, top-notch support, inexpensive, and reliable hardware. They're willing to negotiate on pricing as well.
