[Requesting] Thumbnail Feedback

Currently trying to improve my skill at creating thumbnails. I've been using "templates" for years which had a render of my skin and the name of the server/gamemode, along with a caption and a picture from the video. These looked pretty ugly, though, so I've decided to try something else, which is Replay Mod screenshots.

Is the new thumbnail an improvement? Is there something I should do better? ("new thumbnail" will be updated soon, new video coming out today with a better quality thumbnail imo)

The new thumbnails are a whole lot better. I'd also add some text if you think that the video requires it and if you're trying to pull in views, add some bright coloured arrows to attract an easier audience.

well, I've been doing this for around a year and a half now and what I found that gets the most views are where its just simple enough to peak the viewer's interest to click on the video. For example, the new one is just a player that is highlighted with a huge motherfucking guassian blur for the rest of it. For example, you can look at this one that I made:

The text is fully visible, and it gives just a little bit of information about what is going on in the video, (top right corner)

I also suggest to find text styles you like, and experiment and play around with them because the nice looking text will always draw people in.
