Requesting ways to improve my drone shots & editing skills

Because I had such good feedback on my last post, I'd love to see what you guys this of this shot i did last week!

If anyone is wondering it's shot with a mavic mini, in Big Bear, CA!

Looks really good in my opinion! I like the music, my tip would be in the beginning where you talk, deafen the music and actually turn on the volume so we can hear what you speak after you say what you want then, turn the music on and the sound off, it's what I see a lot of YouTubers doing. Hopefully, you understood me! Best of luck

That looks pretty good. I'd say smooth out the drone and camera movements because it looks choppy.

Also that reminds me of a place in Arizona on Mount Lemmon called Wilderness of Rocks

yea, i tried to smooth it out, but the footage is sped up x2.5 otherwise it would be over 35 mins long with no cuts or speed up. Thanks for the feedback!

Also I'll have to check that place out!

Try shooting more, shorter, clips and editing them together to form a nice story or flow (with the music). I think overtime, you'll get better with finding different shots and techniques with flying the drone, but currently, like pointed out above, the footage looks choppy. Smooth out your shots, take the time and plan what you want to capture, find a focus, etc.

Post Prod: Color grading goes a long way.

Sadly I think it has just burned down. You can check out pictures from previous to the fire, and of course all of the rocks are still there.

Those shots look great but I think it would look better (in my opinion)

If the shots taken were a few seconds long (2-4 seconds, shorter the better)

If they were moving in 1 direction only

Those are just my recommendations but it kinda reminds me of Replay Mod in Minecraft

It seems that shorter is better. I'll work on that!
