I am creating a studio that creates short films. We are looking to have a website that has all of our films on it. I would like to not use the Youtube API to show the films if possible. I also want to have a section on the site for crowd-funding, using the Kickstarter API if possible.
The home page of the website should display a list of films displayed in a grid view. On the top of the home page should be text that displays the amount of money raised so far, and when clicked, bring you to the kickstarter page. When watching a video, there should also be a side-bar displaying the other films that we have worked on. At the end of the video, a recommendation for what to watch next should pop up. This recommendation should be able to be picked by us.
I am willing to use the Youtube API if it will be too expensive or complicated to do it custom.
