Require Premium to sell Fortnite accounts

the fortnite section is littered with scammers of accounts created the day of posting their vague pictures with no proof of ownership (which makes it even harder to confirm if it's legit). Minecraft accounts have the same thing so why not implement it here. Fortnite is growing in popularity for the time being so it only makes sense to have the popular sub-forum require premium to sell.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that no, this won't solve the issue for scamming, but that was one of my main points because it's so frequent in the selling community to see these scammers. If we can take out the kids who don't even own the account and are brokies trying to scam; we probably will take out a good bit of the scammers in our community.

This sounds super dumb. If this actually happens people just buy premium for what $10 and sell a skull trooper account for $300+ and the buyers think hes verified and secure since he is eligible and has "premium" and then scams with a profit of $290.

that takes time to find a reputable MM that's online, the whole point about this is the convenience of people who don't want to have to take 5-10 to see if someone is a "account created today" scammer.

You just don't deal with them. It's obvious if someone is scamming.
At this stage it's easy to spot a scammer.

it really isn't. many people come to MCM with rare FN accounts because it's a good place to sell them. they create their accounts and they post their account details etc.

you message them and around 10-20 minutes pass by and you finally can confirm they are real because they have such a hard time gaining trust because they dont have any comforting signs such as "Premium" or "Supreme". But they don't need it right? because it's FREE to sell FN accounts so why would they buy ranks/account upgrades.

you take around 5-10 waiting for them to reply talking about pricing. you ask for them to use a MM or go first and they decline. boom. waste of my time.

both of those were a waste of time that could have been easily avoided if we weed out the brokie scammers.

I completely agree with this - it should be the same way as it is with Mc accounts. You need premium to sell mc accounts, same thing should apply to fortnite accounts. They sell for the same price.

I agree. Not because of the scamming (this can be easy eliminated with middle manning or having low-rep go first), but because the premium requirement for Minecraft Accounts keeps the supply lower than the demand, which makes the market far more marketable for sellers. Keeping fortnite sales from non-ranked players will keep the supply lower and will also keep sales up for MCM!

If the non perk players don't want premium, then they can go to another website. it's so fucking simple. For those that do want to sell here, sure, do fucking please buy the rank and sell because, they are confident that they are selling a legit product.

fyi, I was travelling through old threads and found out that players with a rank have a higher chance of scamming others other than regulars (nons) and thus because people trust a ranked member more than a non-ranked one and this can be easily used for scamming. e.g; I'm having trouble selling a product because people claim that I'm a scammer due to me being a non, and as I purchase a rank for just $10 I am eligible to sell an account for $200+ and people will trust me because of my rank.

okay if you don't agree with that then just understand that for right now, fortnite OGs/ stacked accs are the same prices as Minecraft OGs. Something needs to be changed because the system in which you can purchase them is very different.

it doesn't matter, people sell bitcoins in values of thousands and it does not require a premium membership to do so.

that's not near the same thing as buying and selling a gaming account. and the system is completely easy to find a scammer. "are you willing to go first or use a MM" if they so no then deal with discretion
