This probably isn’t the best idea , but it would be more safe if the users of the forum were required to show some sort of ID to show proof of their age and location and stuff Although it’s just a forum market , deals happen we’re people tend to get scammed , just think about it there would be way less scamming , you don’t have to have underaged kids on the website

IT fixes so many things wrong with the website.

I don’t know what type an ID , but an I’d with some information that’s reportable to the police if somewone scams

Do you seriously think MCM is a well maintained site implementing the latest in security? Considering how long it took for SSL to even be added I don't think you'll find many people who would send in a photo/copy of their ID just to use a forum.

Pretty ironic that Los has since been banned for admitting to scamming.

Anyways, there's been forums in the past that have introduced this functionality to be added to a verified role, but it didn't really prevent scamming. What are we supposed to do if we do decide that someone is a scammer? Publicly shame them and reveal their identity? That's about all we could do and that's a massively unprofessional thing for us to do.

Users would inevitably end up using family members/friends/randoms/fake IDs which don't really add any incentive for them not to scam out.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
