Give supreme members or a "new rank" Ability to bump our resources once a week/day etc instead of them dying off.

As it stands, there are various ways to advertise your resources, one being in the SB itself.
The ability to bump resources would, in some occasions mean your resource would only be on the front page for a matter of minutes. to a few hours. Which would make bumping it next to useless.

Just an opinion, but some may disagree.

Not really. Only way to "Bump" it right now is to update it

I agree. To "bump" the resource, you need to update it and what if there is no update for it? Great suggestion.

"Bump" is going to be a great idea if Mick actually gonna do it.

Especially for builds as you can’t really update those if they’re complete bumping will bring a great addition for the resource authors who’ve worked on their resources and can’t update it

I would've replied to this sooner however I was on my way out.

Some of you may think "your resource would only be top for a few hours before someone else bumps their resources" yes, this may be true however after a while, all resources get pushed back by a few pages, this bumping system ensures that you have a chance (at least once a week) to have your resource viewed.


Some others may think "that's unfair on members/premium members" This may be so however I also suggest that premium gets to bumb their resources except they only have the chance to do it once every 2 (or more) weeks, even though members haven't paid for this perk, they should still be able to bump their resources at least once a month, this is because without the ability to do so, they won't have a chance for people to view their resource once ranked members have bumped theirs.

Maybe it could be every 3 days instead of 1 so all resources get more time at the top

Ive wrote this out about 10 times and I dont seem to be able to find the correct words to make the post understandable, so Ill just make it short, I believe it should be a week as there will be multiple people bumping resources and with anywhere from 5 to 100+ resources being bumped it'll be hard to find a 'time slot' which is longer than an hour if there are up to 30+ resources being bumped daily at least with a week cooldown period you'll have yours seen for an hour at least.

After writing this out I feel as though the bumping should be an extra perk that costs monthly however is only available to supreme users or is heavily discounted to supreme users, this will prevent resource bump spamming as 1/2 of those people are just bumping for the sake of it.

It may have to be custom coded if there isn't an Xenforo add-on for it though.
