Resource delivery tracking (New Update)

So, how exactly does the new system show that user has downloaded the product?
I am talking about the following: https://www.mc-market.org/resources/track?trans_id=<Transaction ID>
For the cases I have checked it displays the following:
["shipment_status"] => string(7) "pending"

And bunch of other information which I don't think can be any of help while fighting chargeback, anyone experienced or has any idea how this is helpful?

At a minimum, it shows what the person bought and the site has a record of the buyer's transaction. Will it help in chargebacks? Probably not any more than screenshots from the purchase tab in its current state but I'm not entirely sure how it's intended to be used other than serving a means of tracking id. Perhaps if it was cleaned up and made clear if the user downloaded the resource or not, then maybe it would help against 'never received' chargebacks.
It seems that an effort is being made through the execution still needs work. I don't blame MC-Market staff for making that effort with a single developer currently focusing on everything while surely maintaining a personal life.

I mean in the announcement it was said "When fighting a chargeback, provide a link to this tracking page within your PayPal dispute as evidence for the product having been delivered.", I just don't understand how this can be helpful, as it feels like it would have same effect as providing screenshot about transaction from 'View Sales' page.
