Resource Downloading

Hey guys, I am reaching out to the MCM community along with the staff team to see how often this happens to them. Lately, people who purchase my resources are not always able to download, I created a support ticket about this but they just told me that users internet was basically too slow.

Over the last two weeks over 10 people have come to me with this issue, with the same problem saying that it stops them with just a few seconds left and they get a network error, not most people are able to just try the download in about 6 hours and it tends to work at that point, some people are never able to download the resource. I am reporting it here so it's public along to see if this has happened to anyone else.

From what I’ve seen, it does seem to correlate with the speed of the downloader’s internet. For instance, I am personally almost never able to reproduce the issue, and when it does happen, simply downloading it again will result in the file being provided. On the other hand, at least one of our staff members experiences it often, and sometimes is unable to download a resource regardless of their retry attempts.

What’s most frustrating is that we haven’t been able to identify the cause. Not knowing what the issue is makes finding a resolution very difficult.
I very much welcome any ideas from the community.

have the file hosted on a google drive or some service like that ( this happens to me when I download files of gigs of google drive , although my speed is around 150 down and up )

External resources are not permitted in our resource system. We host all files in order to ensure reliable records.
We take the agreements between users very seriously and unless we can verify that what was promised wasn't provided, we cannot enforce those deals in our scam report system.
Moreover, we’d prefer to fix the problem, rather than bury it.

Hi, I could not load many resources that I bought. It was very disappointing when I bought Aegis and could not download it, and then discovered that the author had deleted this resource. =(

Same here, I am getting this issue with large resources. "Failed - Network Error"

Hello everyone, i found 100% way of downloading, you need to download via wi-fi on the phone and then everything will work out =)

After discussing this issue with Jayson a couple months ago I believe that he found that the PayPal IPN returning thingie (that's the technical name) occasionally had some of the requests blocked but was resolved. Perhaps that explains why this issue only became more extreme in the weeks before this bug report was made, but it should be fixed.

It's impossible for us to make payments go through 100% of the time because sometimes it's just PayPal's fault, but I think that we've fixed this as well as we can now.
