Okay, so all you scammers back off.

Here is the suggestion,

The resource system we have now is decent and works for selling digital products automatically, however, the second ANYONE decides to make a chargeback you can kiss your money goodbye as there is nothing that you can do. Because this is a digital product there is no way for PayPal to know if the item was received. I just got off the phone with them and they told me it was simple enough to fix this issue so that sellers could actually win chargebacks via resources, we only need a few things.

1. There must be an email sent out by MCM to the purchase email with a download link. Not just a place to download on MCM

2. There must also be a way to see if the product was ever downloaded by the buyers. Basically, the link would need to be unique that I can check and show proof that the buyer actually downloaded the product via the link that was sent to them via email.

That was it. Anyone who encounters a chargeback would be safe. They would also just upload the files to the PayPal case and that should be enough evidence to win.

Reasoning: First off this would stop scammers, secondly, there are a lot of accounts that are brand new to MCM that purchase resources, chargeback on them all and then are banned. But if they ever want another resource they create an account again before it would be auto banned the scammer would have enough time to purchase the other resources he wants. This isn't fair to sellers as there is no way to beat this system.

With our current system scammers never loose!

Not sure how big scamming this way is. But this does sound like it would help with the problem, making it so you can actually fight a chargeback.

I've lost like 50$ to this shit, Becuase PayPal and their 20$ loosing fee when facing a financial organization. It's ridiculous.

If you give paypal a call and be nice to them, they almost will always refund that fee as a "one-time courtesy". I've done it about 5 times this year already.

It wasn't meant as a fix, I just wanted to let you know. Calling PayPal will always result in a more positive outcome than responding through their resolution center.

I think that only sending a email for download is not the best idea because i have come back to mcm to download resources that i have purchased months ago. But maybe you would have to send a confirmation email that you got the product and when the person clicks that it would download the file but after that they could continue to download it from the site

I suggest adding an email, not the only method.

I definitely support the option to view individual orders/downloads. Sellfy also has something like this, and it has allowed me to see that a guy charging back for "significantly not as described" HAD NEVER DOWNLOADED THE THING HE WAS CHARGING BACK ON!

This would be awesome!
A get quite a high number of charge backs monthly, and all of them are from resources. This should hopefully allow creators to fight against scammers.

Agreed this would be a fantastic feature and would help a ton. Going through a scam report with someone whom charged back my self sadly :(

Actually, Regardless of proof of download you can still loose the chargebacks, I've had it happen many times in the pass.

There is no way to truly stop paypal chargebacks, Normally when I do get one I respond and if I loose oh well.

I've always responded with a email and pictures of my sellfy transactions and info with full proof of them downloading, I've only lost one chargeback using that but it was with the dude doing it via creditcard and sadly added fees and shit.
