Hello everyone,

I have seen that lately many complain that PayPal blocks accounts (especially for those who deal with minecraft, servers, but also many developers). I was somehow thinking of reaching the MC-Market staff with a proposal to add another payment method in addition to PayPal when purchasing resources, now how staff working on the resource system.

I noticed that the Stripe method was added to the Account Upgrade. Why not add it also for resources? or also payoneer i hear that is a good method.

You can't accept money with Payoneer, as they only accept payments from trusted sources.
I got my account banned (And it has nothing to do with Minecraft btw, it's just that PP doesn't like new accounts with a lot of transactions), and I just made my own website to process payments... It will take years until MCM or Spigot will add another payment gateway

It does have to do with Minecraft, it's 'too high of a risk for them'. If you don't have an account with official business papers issues, it's very likely to be disbanded. It could be not specifically Minecraft, but at least this sub category of digital goods

The problem with Stripe is that your userbase is limited tremendously. Stripe requires authentic credit card/debit card information, where a variety of users either don't have this or don't feel comfortable using it. While paypal isn't a great option because of how crap they are, it, in my opinion, is the only option that isn't restrictive to the user base.

Yes, but besides PayPal there are other methods. Or Paymentwall and Payoneer both, if I'm not mistaken, have accounts in which the money is deposited, and then you withdraw it. There should be some method to help MC-Market users continue and develop their projects, because some do not have the opportunity to say and all income came only on paypal. So I came up with the idea of finding a new alternative.

I had an official business papers that were provided, it didnt stop them from limiting the account. Again, nothing to do with Minecraft, its just that PP doesnt like new accounts with a lot of transactions[DOUBLEPOST=1606410509][/DOUBLEPOST]

I switched to Stripe and still get the same average amount of purchases.

I personally think that 2CheckOut would also be a good option, it's available in most countries, and having PayPal direct payment stuff
