It would be helpful if we could send bulk notifications to users that purchase our resources either via email or using the MC-Market DMs.

Some use cases for this would be:
  • New updates, explaining features (From what I know this gets sent only if the user watches the resource)
  • Upcoming updates
  • Direct non-public communication with buyers.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I like the idea, I’m a little concerned that there will be some user who just spams people who he bites the resource to troll though (or maybe buys a dead resource that has 100 buyers for 2 bucks because it gets no sales now and then spams). So possibly adding some time limit might be useful.

100%.

I think it's unlikely something like that would happen, although it would be a good idea to add a rule preventing it. A cooldown would work (I'd say 1 per week is fair and then if you do multiple updates you can just compile it to a single notification. Anymore that 1 a week would get pretty annoying)

I also think the email address' of users should be completely hidden and not given to resource authors to prevent not using the system on here.

My biggest concern with this was that my resource updates are fairly large and require 10-15 file changes per update, and it has to be sequential otherwise users will miss out important functionality.
