As a resource owner, I have seen that new purchases on this platform have been failing on MC-Market's side (Status: Unpaid, with no PayPal ID) for myself, but PayPal perceives it as a payment received. It also has come to my awareness that the purchases that are status unpaid disappear after a day or two, leaving no seller assurance.

I'd like to have other people's feedback if they have a similar issue to mine.

Best Regards,
Solo

I had a similar issue with payments not going through years ago and I still do on Spigot with is agitating. On here, it eventually resolved itself, I tried some confusing api nonsense and making a new PayPal account. Spigot IRC recommended calling PayPal but I don't see what that would accomplish.

You may be better off opening a support ticket and than an bug thread but you do you. Hopefully someone can provide you a better answer.

An "Unpaid" status should only be showing when we receive an IPN from PayPal that the payment process was initiated (ie. the user clicks 'Buy' on the resource and are redirected to the PayPal payment page) but is never actually completed, and instead the user quit out of the page or went back to MC-Market.

"Pending" should show when the user goes ahead with a payment but the author is needed to accept a currency conversion fee, or if PayPal puts the transaction on hold for 24-hours. When this occurs, MC-Market won't receive a further IPN when the payment is fully completed, so the author will need to manually issue a license instead via our seller dashboard.

Under normal conditions and if the user goes ahead with the payment, there shouldn't be a situation where we receive an IPN for the payment initialisation, but not the proceeding pending/completed IPN (as in, MC-Market shows the status as "Unpaid" but the funds were already credited into your account instantly).

If this is still an issue for you, I'd open a support ticket as MarkElf suggested as from the lack of responses to this bug report, I'd assume this isn't a wide-spread issue for our resource authors. Make sure both the sender/receiver's PayPal accounts are verified and that the currency you've set within the resource editor is identical to that of your default PayPal account currency.

Indeed, thank you Mr Harry.

I'll move this to the bug report archives, thank you
