This is my suggestion for how Mc-Market should handle the recent leak of plugins due to an error in the licensing system. The glitch allowed some MCM users to download resources without paying the displayed price for them.
This was a mistake that Mc-Market should be held accountable for.
However,
This glitch was exploited by some Mc-Market users, infringing Mc-Market TOS, and therefore those users should be held accountable for their actions as well.
1) Users involved should be responsible for paying for the resources that were taken.
2) If a user refuses to pay for the lost money involved, that user should be punished depending on the severity of their case and MCM should cover the total cost of those stolen products.
This would be a case dependant solution. Either way, both parties will be held responsible to some sort of degree.
