High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Why the i7 instead of i5? Is this a gaming rig, or a video editing workhorse?
The i5 I was looking at was around the same price so I figured I would just get a i7 for bragging rights.

Nice :p Well it looks pretty sweet! I am building a setup right now as well, just waiting on RAM and CPU.
Some other things you might consider;
Operating System? DVD/BR Drive?

Since you're not planning to overclock, you may not need an expensive CPU cooler and PSU. That should save about $40 or so.
Also, have you evaluated if you need the most expensive i5 or can make do with a cheaper i5? If you can, then any recent-gen i5 will probably do for most games. the GPU takes most of the hit of high performance games.
You don't really need an i7 or high-end i5 unless you're planning to render stuff or do some serious multi-tasking.

Here is my current build, I have almost everything. Just waiting on RAM, CPU, OS, Optical Drive.

This case is AMAZING. Comes with a handful of fans already, and has fantastic cable management room. Only downside is the weight of the thing, weighs in at 36lbs... Has a carrying handle, but still not something to lug to a LAN party! I would highly recommend this case if you want something that looks a little fancier and has more features.

For monitors I am just rocking two Acer 23" on a dual monitor full-motion wall-mount. Paid $60 for the mount and $99 for each monitor

I may or may not overclock or add a second 1080, thats why im leaving the wiggle room with the PSU & I want the i7 for the bragging rights.

what's the ssd specs? could get a samsung ssd with that price.
550/mbs but I probably will just bump down to 120GB because its only $55 and im only running my OS on the SSD

No games? :eek: I bought the 120GB Samsung thinking I'd just run my OS and favorite games on it... I filled it up way too fast! It makes such a difference on most games to get the loading times down!
