So Landon1 got banned (Terms Violation (i) )
To the normal people looking at him, how does this even make sense?

This should be more clear, either provide a rule number was broken or name it.
Terms violation could also be (scamming, dosing and many more) thus leaving other users in confusion for good members.

If you care enough just ask him even if he only got banned for advertising a competitor site or something dumb like that I wouldn't want to deal with a banned used no matter what
Regardless, it's good to know and have on record what exactly the violation was.

He got banned for the Terms Violation: Furthermore, by using the Service, you agree that: (i) You will not use the Service for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited in these TOS

The community wants to know what reason, as in TOS there’s a hundred of them.

Doesn't a TOS violation ban indicate there's sensitive information involved that the community doesn't actually need to know specifically?

Like I wrote "If you care enough just ask him" no need to change the ways staff handles things and make it more work for them.
Still, it is unclear to not me, the community and this is not about me caring.
The people needs to be shown what reason exactly was there, having "TOS Violation" could mean anything.

What would that change?
It will bring more awareness to the people regarding that one rule, and the other people will get to know clearly who are friends with him or don't know him well and future staff as well.

Usually if a ban reason is fairly abnormally vague, it probably has to do with something sensitive. Else they would usually reference an understandable clause or such.

Indeed. With that particular ban reason it still did specify the particular part of the TOS that the user broke that resulted in their ban, and I think that is more than enough.

Typically we give warning points for violating our TOS. If you get banned for violating it then you probably did something pretty illegal.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion
