So I have this situation on hand where I am pretty much scammed of my time. So what is killing me is that he is someone with "rep". And after the owner of his community known about this situation, he said it's between me and him.
I kinda understand that he may not want a negative reputation reflected on his community. However, on another point of view as a normal community civilian.
I believe that isn't it right for us to know that there is a potential threat within us?

So now here is the story...
#JackHanson#0001 contacted me via discord to had him do some animation for his servers. Long story short, we have an agreement he needed 2 GIFs for his 2 servers and I get fully paid after finishing 1 of them.
After I emailed him the finishing work, he went missing. For days, I tried contacting him but really to no avail. I had no other choice but to contact someone from the discord he is in only then he started replying again. He pretty much just apologized for the time and effort I had put in. And told me he can't do any more than that.
So here is the thing, I am in a dilemma, I had already wasted more energy and time from trying to get him to reply. However I still feel that is right for people to know that someone is potentially a scammer. Especially he is a "community manager" or w/e in the discord.
So wanted to get an 3rd party opinion on whether should just let it go or should I at least try to inform people in the discord?
Or let me know if I am over reacting lol. Maybe I am crazy idk...
