Net Neutrality was passed in Brazil recently, and it got passed by congress too in Brazil. They're already putting it in place and using it against companies.

(Quote from a news article: )
"Wrong. It could shut down the entire Internet, or just block certain sites, as it has done repeatedly. On June 19 a Brazilian judge ordered Internet providers to block access to What’sApp in an attempt to force the company to reveal personal user data for a criminal investigation. It was the third time in seven months that Brazilians lost access to the extremely popular encrypted messaging platform, which boasts more than 100 million users across the country."

You can still use the Tor browser, or a VPN to avoid it though.

Net Neutrality has yet to even take affect. We still have congress who has to pass this, quit your high horses and hope Congress will be smart enough to not repeal it.
U saw the 101 million of "lobbying". I think it is funny becuase in most cases everywhere else in the world it would be a school example of bribing and corruption. Interesting, indeed.

To anyone wondering, no, the repeal UNFORTUNATELY does not have to go through congress, HOWEVER, congress has the ability to overrule the FCC's vote with a 2/3 of Senate and House support. Now with that being said, that is pretty unlikely do to how slow things move in congress and 2/3 is a pretty large majority. If you have any questions about the situation, pm me.

Trump could also veto it, but we all know he isn't going to.

Its not over yet, it still has to get through congress, AND 17 states are suing the FCC over this to try to block it.

Edit Apparently I was wrong, but congress CAN still block it.

Im sorry but that's not net neutrality. Properly implemented net neutrality would force ISPs to treat all data packets equally. A government using a fake/poorly written NN law to force ISPs to block legal content is ridiculous, totalitarian, and has nothing to do with netneutrality, whatever they name it.
