Another thing that's funny about this situation is his friend who made the rant literally does the same thing. Sure it's not as cancerous as Leafy but he could still hurt people's feelings.

If people want to say it's wrong for autistic people to be made fun of they shouldn't be on the Internet. The online world is not a nice place. The fact that he was crying over such a silly roast means he can't handle criticism.

It was the death threats, not criticism. Anyone would be upset over that. But still, they are empty threats

So if you guys may or may not have heard about the recent shitstorm in the community, well this thread will basically be summing up what has happened with Leafy in the last few days.

If you don't know who LeafyIsHere is, he's a very rising and popular YouTuber who makes daily videos basically reacting and commentating (No not like Jinx or CJ), and in a way roasting other people's videos in a satirical manner.

So 2 days ago (March 19), Leafy had made a video on a guy who is known on YouTube as TommyNC2010. This video showed Tommy finding that a car was driving away with a box of eggs on top. He ran over and grabbed the eggs, and gave it back to the people who bought it as a good deed, and proceeded to tell the people to do a good deed for others. Now Leafy, being the commentator that he is, roasts the guy in this video, and the video goes viral on both YouTube and Reddit. Now a bunch of people see this video, and go to TommyNC2010's channel and start sending him death threats, suicidal encouragement, and such.

Later on, it was found out that Tommy was actually autistic, and now half of the YouTube community was in an uproar. Leafy's own friend Ethan (H3h3Productions) called him out for being a bully and made a rant video against him.

Leafy is said to be making a video explaining all of this today, so before I make a decision of what side I'm on, I'd like to hear what he has to say. So far, within 30 minutes of H3h3's video calling him out, he lost 2,000 subscribers, and the count is gaining fast.

Leafy was unaware that Tommy was autistic and made 1 mistake, therefore I'm on leafy's side. Tommy and H3H3 took the situation way too far. If you haven't noticed, tommy's sub count has gone up and now he starts to upload it again. It appears that tommy is only doing this for the subs and the attention.

The problem with leafy is that his fans like to hate and do that hissssss stuff. They hate and give death threats to everyone leafy talk about.For example MattyB a Youtuber with 5 million subscribers (that will 4 million more than leafy) got a ton of dislikes and comments saying hissss and kill your self. If there is a chance there something wrong with someone you shouldn't go on ranting about them, it a terrible idea. Know to give leafy credit it's a smart idea to take the video down but you can't just hit delete to hide something this big. If leafy was smart he would apologize to the guy and tell his fans to go sub him to try to help his case. Either way what he did was wrong.

In my opinion the whole situation hot blown way out of proportion. The issue of him being autistic falls under a very controversial subject. Should it really matter if he's autistic? He still makes the same types of videos on people (some of them being worse), and no apologies are given.

Look at it like this: Should a punishment be greater depending on the traits of a person? If a white man gets murdered and a black man gets murdered, should the punishment for killing the black man be greater just because of the colour of his skin? I think not. They are both people.

His videos are for comedy, but some people take them way too seriously, and those are the people that should be apologizing, not him. If he's going to apologize, it should be to everyone he's made a video on. Not just one person because he is autistic. Looking at the other people he made fun of, I'm pretty sure some of them had some sort of mental disability as well lol

(Side note: I wish people would stop saying that the comment "Kill yourself" is a death threat.. it's really not)
