Yesterday I noticed this program called Sherlock trending on Github. I followed the project months ago when it started in late 2018, but I never expected it to reach the level of exposure it did as of this year.
With that said, I think it is time I cease development on the original bulk social media username checker I developed 3 years ago as a commission for Devon. I will always remember the day Devon came to me and returned the rights of my beloved creation back to me, so I could continue to develop it and make improvements for the world.
OGCheckr CLI has been in the top 5 highest rated resources on MC-Market for quite some time and it makes me very proud to have supported it for all these years for nothing in return. I do it to hopefully encourage a new generation of kids to explore STEM and gain valuable skills in programming.
Sherlock has taken what OGC started over 3 years ago and made it better in every way. I highly encourage those looking to get into the tech industry to start contributing to other open-source projects you enjoy. It may or may not be Sherlock or OGCheckr, but I'm sure I will see you around Github one of these days. Comment or DM your Github username below and I'd love follow you back and talk with you.
I will keep the resource on MCM for the time being, but you can also download and view the full source code anytime from the Github repository.
