Okay bud, I'm no tentacion fan but what I can say is you're being disrespectful to the people who are trying to mourn for the rapper he was.

They enjoyed his music. They valued his music and his life. Sure, his actions are completely unjustifiable, but you cannot have prejudice for people who idolised him for his music and talent.

You say it was a good thing that the shooter did what he did, but that's also unjustifiable. The murder of another human life is unjustifiable and immoral, much less downright demoralising to people who stand up for other people. I don't like having a person harass other people, but I don't like people who murder in cold blood, either.

How dare you judge and degrade people who enjoyed and valued, and as you put it, 'idolised', Tentacion. There is nothing wrong with having idols and enjoyment. All you're doing is degrading people. So get off the thread and let people mourn, and stop preaching hypocrisy.

And fyi, no one is defending his previous actions.

the problem with mourning for somebody who's as controversial as xxxtentacion on an open online forum is that anyone is allowed to say whatever they want in response. you're entitled to publicly mourn for whoever you'd like. here's the bottom line: there will always be criticism and people need to learn to handle that. my OP wasnt intended to directly target xxxtentacion supporters, rather it was a critique on the rapper himself. what do i get in response to my opinion? violent xxxtentacion supporters wishing death upon me over an opinion they disagree with.

in regards to "The murder of another human life is unjustifiable and immoral", this applies in most cases. however the death penalty does exist and it does for a good reason. some people are sick monsters who can't contain themselves to commit heinous crimes and need to be put down as a result. wanna know what else is unjustifiable and immoral? home invasion, robbery, aggravated battery, hate crime (he beat up a prison cell mate for being homosexual and referred to him as a "faggot"), and domestic violence, among other things.

nobody needs to try and defend these actions, i believe that they'd be foolish to do so. however my opinion is my opinion and if you want to mourn for somebody as sick and twisted as that, that's just fine as thats your opinion as well. want to attack me for attacking your idol? expect to get shit back.

I will mention something about the death penalty; the death penalty system was based upon the thought that people don't change. However, in saying that, it was meant for larger and more appropriate actions; murder, for example. Now I'm not saying that what he did was small by any means. But on a thread full of mourning, I don't particularly think that shit-talking the rapper when people are mourning is appropriate; it is simply insensitive. You can go criticise the guy however you like, just not when people want closure. It's like having an open wound and squirting lemon juice in it. It's painful.
