The problem with that is that people will bot the discord to win invite rewards.
If we add something like mail verification for example it won't even matter as people's bots already bypassed that ages ago.

Due to high demand we will change the form of verification soon. But for now it is not really a big deal and we are not loosing players, the server has not released yet, we're just talking about the discord.
