Are there any server admins running Minecraft servers on the Windows platform? How is it? Just curious, since i don't hear about Windows often, so I was wondering what the experience is like.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Generally not a good idea. You have to pay a license for windows and it takes a serious hit on performance.
Any good system admin will use a linux distro for minecraft

Generally, only those who have no experience prefer to open a server on windows. Compared to Linux, Windows performs worse, but is easier to use.

I mean you can easily, just depends on things such as - How powerful is your computer? Also how big of a server are we talking in terms of players?

I have actually hosted many servers on Windows, it can run perfectly fine if you just scrape down on the Windows interface itself.

I've not met any problems with it yet, along with TCAdmin you can come quite far :D
