Rust Cartel is a planned group of Rust Servers which are ready to be released. We're currently seeking an experienced and proficient business partner to provide extra funding and adequate inspiration and ideas to successfully run this group of Rust servers. We are requesting a business partner so we do not have to prevent releasing the servers until after Christmas, as this is a profitable time for game servers of all kinds.

This is a business, so we intend to profit from these servers: however, our policy is to profit in a way which doesn't effect the overall experience of the players which play the server. To this end, we'll be offering miscellaneous or smaller perks to our players in order to earn from this endeavour.

So, what are we asking for in our partner? I'll try and explain that in a concise list which can be found below:

• A large amount of motivation.
• A unique imagination & the ability to provide ideas which may benefit the server.
• A minimum of £50 in up-front funding.
• Some experience or gametime in Rust, we would prefer a partner which plays the game & can relate to our players.

Since you're providing funding, you're probably curious what you'll be getting for it.

• Influence over decisions made on the server.
• 20% of donations as this partner position doesn't strictly require large amounts of work.
• 20% in any advertisements made on the server Discord in the future.
• All percentages of revenue from donations or advertisements last 4 months after the funding is given, the deal can be re-negotiated following this period if you wish to continue with us.
• Various in-game benefits if you're planning on playing on the server yourself.

2. You are selling advertisement in the discord server? Great way to kill a discord and a community! For this sole reason I am backing off my interest in this.

I've ran 3 rust servers in the past under different brands, one peaked at 100 players on wipe day and consistently got 50-60 for the following days of the map. The other servers were around 10-25 due to them being monthly wipes.

As for what I'm providing as the secondary partner, I'll provide C# development experience for game add-ons, system administration experience and community management, all of which I have a decent number of years doing.

This mentality is what I find to be toxic about Rust. If you are considering to make a Rust server, don't ruin it by attempting to profit in advertisements. Instead, find a more sustainable way to do such. As for C# there's no portfolio, same goes for System administration and community management. As for 10-25 players on a monthly wipe, that's entirely normal since why on earth would you even have a monthly wipe community server. That's asking for failure. People go on rustopia for monthly wipes.

Yeah I get that, however I already have some interest and people privately contacting me. If asked I might provide some kind of redundancy to some potential partners.
