Ryzen 3900x or i9 9900k?

Title says it all. I will be getting new PC soon and I can't decide between those two.

Intel Core i9 9900K up to 5.0GHz, Coffee Lake
Intel Z390 Chipset
16GB DDR4 3000MHz
NVIDIA GeForce RTX2080 8GB GDDR6
HDD: 2TB, 7200.12 3.5"
SSD: 256GB NVMe SSD

or

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X up to 4.6GHz, Socket AM4
AMD X570, AM4
16GB DDR4 3000MHz
NVIDIA GeForce RTX2080 8GB GDDR6
SSD: 1TB NVMe SSD

Those two I listed are the same price.

Well to be fair I have a " Gaming pc" although it's kind of older I have a i5 2nd gen. Works like a beauty, can only imagine the i9. Also my friend got the opposing and had a lot of problems with kt.

My past experience with intel is great too but as I hear from others, amd killed it with their new ryzen 9.
I don't care about few extra fps on i9 9900k, wouldn't do gaming that much.

It just depends. If you’re buying it for general use along with gaming, I’d recommend the AMD. If you’re just going to game on it go with intel.

Depends on your goals. Workstation, server (lol), gaming?

I won't be gaming on it that much, it will be used as a workstation for most of the time.
