As we are working in dynamic plan assignments to the console/cluster as well as watching our new system carefully, all new server deployments will not be automated and therefore may take up to 24 hours to go into effect. Hello everyone!

We have recently completed our Q1 2019 infrastructure update and wanted to fill you in on what we have accomplished. Our goal here was to organize our users and clean up our deployment process.

We have done a number of improvements in the background that will allow us to move forward with our new and existing deployments as well as improved our monitoring capabilities in order to attend to servers more effectively.

Our main focuses included,

1. Improving storage and persistence instead of using the node itself as a storage operator
2. Cleaning up deployments
3. Giving users a friendlier server ID (Two words vs your PayPal sub id)
   
4. Load balancing our API, making the cluster HA (now points to cluster.mcserverhosting.net)
5. Improving our backup system by switching to Restic and using S3 compliant storage services

With these improvements at hand, we will now be focusing more on our front-facing assets such as our console and our main site. Our goals are to make starting a server easier, enable more features in our web console and provide more documentation on our site for our users.

- The CLI right from your machine instead of via ssh instead of through PuTTy!
- Windows Explorer integration w/ included installer!
- Editable YAML for your server deployment that gives you full control (just as if you were editing a plugin!)

- Multiuser access for admins and mods with adjustable file permissions!
