Question: Why does the value/GB decrease as the amount of RAM increases? It is more economical to get several 1GB instances than a single 4GB instance.

Hi Atrix! Great question. We take account (behind the scenes) the average CPU and network usage in accordance with an administrator's RAM request. Higher performing servers (like Forge) use a lot more CPU than our lower plans that are Vanilla.

That being said, we just updated our pricing and added a new region. Check them out!

We have some exciting news!
The contract is signed! We're moving locations in our NA region! Virginia, USA will be our new home next month! This will come with a lot of exciting new upgrades.
- New, custom hardware:
We are slotting in the latest AMD processors that include Ryzen Thread-rippers and AMD's 3000-5000 series chips. These servers will boot from RAM, leading to a tremendous increase in performance for servers!
We are giving our storage servers PCIe Gen 4 NVME ssds, making storage super fast! (Map generation, saves and so on)
We'll be put against the fiber of multiple ISPs for the region, leading to a noticeable reduction in ping time for users within the US and a significant reduction in ping time for users on the east coast!
