Hey,

First off, let me establish myself:

I am a trailer creator here on MC-Market. I have made hundreds upon hundreds of dollars making trailers. I know what I'm doing, how to do it well, and how to do it fast. I've been making trailers for about two years now. I know all of the programs I use very well. I know how to do just about any special effect, or at least ones that clients ask for frequently. I know how to deal with multiple clients, deadlines, and everything else that comes with making trailers.

Now that I've let you all know who I am, here are some of the things I made recently:

That is only a small snippet of my portfolio. As you can (hopefully) tell by the trailers above, I know how to make simple and clean-looking trailers with no lag, no stutters, clean velocity, clean text animations, and all of the above. A side note, I can do better than all three.

What I'm offering for users today is how to create trailers THE RIGHT WAY. I've never actually seen a user offer something like this, probably because the creating of good trailers is highly coveted. I'm offering it to people because I see an obvious need for it.

Here are some benefits of making trailers:

1. It's fun.
  • It really is fun, something about cinematography for people and capturing an image, making it come to life, just something about it brings joy.
2. It makes money.
  • It's a very steady source of income, and it generally creates a good amount. Yes, there are a lot of trailer creators and cinematographers on MCM, but very few actually good ones.
3. It teaches basic business skills.
  • Dealing with clients and making deadlines is all part of the job. This does and WILL help with future experiences in life.
I'm teaching people how to make trailers. Good ones. This includes all programs, CCs, Velocity Settings, All different types of settings (shake, vignette, ParticleWorld, RSMB, CC Force, whatever you can really think of). A full tutorial of after effects, and how to make trailers using it. A full tutorial of what shaders to use, settings for those shaders, different mods and which way to set points, etc. Which forums to post on, how to get your first few orders, EVERYTHING! I use After Effects.

If you want to purchase a full tutorial on Minecraft cinematography, make lots of money, have fun, and learn valuable life skills, add me on discord: nitro#2376

This full course is entirely based upon budget. The more you want to know, the more you pay. Generally, though, I keep things VERY affordable where people can 100% make their money back from the courses within a month.

You need a good computer to make trailers.

This course includes full support with any future questions.

Reserved. If anyone is wondering why I'm doing this, I no longer have time to make trailers. I'm going to college. However, I obviously still have time to teach people how to make them and support them with any questions, all of that.

My preferred method of contact is discord: nitro#2376

Also, another disclaimer, if you don't like my trailers or my current style of trailers, I know multiple styles. I can probably teach you what you want to know. Please do NOT contact me asking how to make a different cinematographer's trailer. Thanks!

I expect to get a lot of hate on this thread just because of the concept of teaching trailers not EVERYONE will like. I get that, I understand. However, this is a money-making method. Once again, it's safe money and gives you something to do instead of play video games (at least, that was my case haha).

7/19: Away for a week. Will be back on the 27th.

Thanks <3

I've been making trailers for just about a year now and I've made thousands doing trailers for servers like VanityMC, VeltPvP, FaithfulMC, and from what I've seen, getting into the trailer market right now is really difficult. There are at least 15 options on MCM and plenty more once you start looking elsewhere. I'm just here to warn anyone who might be interested in this, some of the claims you made in the thread are misleading. The two that I've quoted are good examples, you might think the way you do trailers is the right way but to me, it's far from the best way to do things. The second claim can be true sometimes once you've got a good list of clients that keep coming back but for the first 2-4 months, you'll usually have trouble keeping clients. My income from trailers is steady but that's after a year of working towards it.

Somewhat true, but just note 'the market' was flooded as well when I started making trailers ~year ago. I found my way into it and got a consistent flow of clients; anyone can. I'm here to help with that aspect too.

I don't think offering lessons on how to 'make trailers' is a great idea. I would argue that teaching how to create a product in a set way inhibits proper learning and creativity. With that said, tutoring in software such as the Adobe suite is a good idea and I'm glad someone can offer the service to people who may be looking into video editing or visual effects.

Also, note that freelancing is not safe money nor does it provide a stable income. This is incredibly important to note given the context of the market you offer an entry in-to.

I have many experiences on helping and teaching people and I guarantee none of them sticked with making trailers, they could make a couple of trailers that looked incredibly similar to mine and just left into the abyss.

In my opinion, "trailer lessons" should not be a thing for many reasons, it's not a practice for real life and I don't think it can even be taught, and after helping 5 people in my free time, none of them really showed any interest, the people who approached me to study a bit were usually just people who wanted money which resulted to them leaving the trailer community faster.

so guys, if you're looking for money, do not rely on trailers.

I agree you can help people set up their work environment which is fine and all, but really, it encourages people to not be independent, once they open their new fresh .aep they won't be able to stretch further than what you taught them, they will copy paste most of the stuff they can and very quickly they will lose interest as it will be a repeating process.

so what I'm saying is, "Trailer courses" shouldn't exist not because they're bad, but because they can mess with one's creativity. Same with selling .aep project files as Woodzy did that before and he very quickly took down from his shop as a bunch of people just copied everything they could from his project files to theirs.

I'm fine for example when people ask me "what are your S_flicker settings?" and it's fine, it's a simple question, but not when they're looking for a course or an entire project file, I find that these courses add a lot to confusion and they do not contribute to the small trailer community.

That's my personal opinion and I'd like you to tell me yours and how you could correct my opinion to make your service more effective and help better
