Saros can't add contacts?

So i've recently installed Saros for eclipse neon. It was blocked by a firewall and set it to home-work networks only. Also when i try to create an account in eclipse it has an error even though i have a google account already linked. Is the reason I can't add contacts is because of the firewall or the account?

Google account? I don't think you need one, all I had to do was create an account on the saros servers, make sure the saros was enabled on my eclipse and then freely add people. Also, are you sure the problem isnt on the side of the person you're trying to add?
