"SCAM" CASE STUDY GAME - What would you have done?

I some thinking, I thought this maybe could have turn out different.

SUMMARY.

Me and #JackHansen0001 had made a deal for his two discord channel.
We agreed that after of the work is done he will make full payment for the whole project.
After I sent him one of the finished work, he went missing. Not really missing but rather ignoring me.

Okay. So moving forward how would you handle this?
Your objective is to get paid for the work you have done.

This guy was referred by someone with rep which let me guard down. Also my cheapo attitude from trying to save a dollar on from the transaction fee ~.~... But yea, I should have taken a deposit before work.

Indeed, I tried not to but he is always online replying on the discord he is in but just not me.
And he replied afterwards is because I contacted someone on his discord only then he gave that reply.

EDIT: By contacting "whom it may concern" I contacted Discord support and the Discord group admin looking to see if they can mediate the situation. Unfortunately, the discord group doesn't deal with personal trading unless it is made officially via their site.

And Discord Trust and Safety Team, their replied said they dont mediate financial dealings. So I told them no money has been loss and I dont want any money anymore.
Now waiting for their reply.

It was hard to control at the point of time... I am very active on discord and other social medias. So when I see him online and not replying, it got me really curious and seeing him replied to his own server that pretty much triggered me. I had to find out more about him. Pretty much at that point a lot of emotions were starting to build up. Like example "Anger, anxiety, self doubt and praying he is a good guy." At this point of time is like 2 days of him not replying...

I guess there is like a con to being overly active. But being active on discord is pretty much my hustle...and his name on my discord chat isn't really helping as it always get me thinking about him replying to the discord he is in and not me. That instead starts to build up more emotions...
