that's a big FI was scammed when I tried selling my account "Teleport". I was stupid and went first, then they took control over both email and mojang account, and proceeded to block me. Like any person I was upset for losing money, and I made a scam report. The user was eventually banned. I also contact protonmail support and tell them there is someone on the account that is not me, and I was able to regain access to the protonmail, secured it and the Mojang account. Then like 2 days later it got locked.
That sounds amazingI also contact protonmail support and tell them there is someone on the account that is not me, and I was able to regain access to the protonmail, secured it and the Mojang account.
But what happened here? Then like 2 days later it got locked.
It wasThat sounds amazing
I think it was because the account had been sold a bunch of times earlier, and because it was pulled right back and forward all the time. Multiple IPs playing on it and it constantly changedBut what happened here?
It was a nice tryI think it was because the account had been sold a bunch of times earlier, and because it was pulled right back and forward all the time. Multiple IPs playing on it and it constantly changed
Smart, good job on picking up on all of thatI was scammed $350 in a BTC -> PayPal transfer a couple of years ago. Although from the information the seller gave me, I was able to identify him down to his exact street address, full name, occupation, and age thanks to public records.
I opened a police report against him, as luckily he was from the UK. As I had hoped, he basically shit himself when he had 2 police officers come around to his house enquiring about the scam and he refunded it immediately.
I suppose I was lucky, as he could've kept his cool and played dumb but hey, I got my money back
I'm not too familiar with how BTC works but is there a way to get that sorted out for yourself?PayPal Chargeback.  [DOUBLEPOST=1599138400][/DOUBLEPOST]total i got scammed was $500+ worth of btc so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
nope its okay i dont really care I'd rather to give them to charity than to get scammedI'm not too familiar with how BTC works but is there a way to get that sorted out for yourself?
Keep that lesson close to you. I hope it won't happen againI got scammed 65$ PayPal f&f.
Deal: Buying a server from him and early supporter account
Details: Actually, I should use a middleman for it. But I didn't use because the guy have more than 70+ vouches on his server and he was on a discord Owners Group. So I believe on that (it is dumb from me) and I go first. All happens on a group not on a dm!
Means I could not provide a single evidence against him. Well he was a professional scammer I think.
After I paid 65$, I was waiting for him. Took him 10 minutes to leave every server included "Discord Owners Group" and kicked me out from the group and blocked me.
Well I could not charge-back because I paid with f&f. I got mad, and could not sleep 3 days in a row. But learned a lesson my life to use always middleman on every deal. Then I less cared about money I got scammed for.
