Ok so how it would work is people could send money to mcm as “collateral” for if they scammed.

And in the case they do the money goes to the scammed victim.

For example someone could add 10$ to this balance thing for a month and anyone scammed during this time which was found in their favor would receive this amount of money. This would give some sort of way for scammed victims to get some money.

Mcm can check for alts? And it would be getting money off themselves?[DOUBLEPOST=1562825983][/DOUBLEPOST]

I doubt only 1/1000 would use it. And wdym there is no way to enforce it. Deals happen over discord all the time and people are still banned here for scamming.
Exacly my point if someone is going to scam why would they put money into their account when they dont have to use it at all ?!?

FIRST OF ALL, there isn't a .exe where they can check for alts.
SECONDLY, they could fake being scammed for a "trade" for example, which would end up with them losing no money.

That’s exactly my point it would show that if someone does have money their most likely legit.[DOUBLEPOST=1562826092][/DOUBLEPOST]

What?

Trades wouldn’t qualify as there was no money involved.

Just an example. Someone could easily refund the said money to their alt after they win a scam report, there are multiple things that could happen.

This is not going to be added. If you don't wanna get scammed be smart.

This suggestion would put too much liability in the hands of MC-M; as well as potentially causing Mick to reach into his own pockets if someone disputed/charge backed.

I'm sure there are far better ways to minimize scamming, but this isn't one in my view.

This is not meant for one account deals but instead people who sell tons of semis, options capes, and cheap services. This will add credibility to them.
Why would anyone care if they're scamming something that's worth $10?

Check scam report section
I ASKED WHY WOULD ANYONE CARE? I dont want to see 1 cents scam reports of kids saying someone killed their parents. And they have to eat rocks cause they dont have any money.

I’d put 10$ out so that if I’m selling something small, I don’t have to wait for middleman or something like that. And you’d get it back at the end of however long you put it in for.
Im so confused.. so its still your money that youre putting in the first place, but u get that money back after u get scammed? u still get scammed. its still ur money. im not sure if im understanding this right

Okay - I'm too lazy to read the replies so apologies if someone already said this:

This is useless. Think about it, I have $10 + some extra money; I put in that $10 for MC-Market to hold; I purchase an account for that extra money and get scammed; I withdraw my $10, at the end, I have $10 left. Or I could skip the parts where I put in and withdraw the money, and I still have $10. This makes no sense - why not just keep the $10 in your card/PayPal/bank instead of depositing it into MC-Market? It's a feature that would take time out of Jayson's way and be virtually worthless. If you're too eager to spend money, store those $10 in an area of your card/PayPal/bank like savings/pools so you aren't tempted to spend it on the scam.

Have you considered the legal consequences? MCM will not be able to claim they're not liable for the consequences of any deal if they middleman it. It's a nice pipedream, but it will never become practical.

No it’s so that if someone is scammed by you they can take money from the money you put in.[DOUBLEPOST=1562870178][/DOUBLEPOST]
