It will help if when you open a scam report on someone, that someone will have on the top of his profile so that everyone will see it a mark saying a scam report is open on this forum and like Click here to view.

Yeah, people can go on scam-out sprees and nobody would know lol.

Especially since the scam disputes take three months for staff to even look at them.

If reports were resolved quickly it would work yeah, but sometimes they can take weeks. A lot less people would deal with the accused while the tag is up, even if they're innocent, e.g. if they get impersonated.

I’d rather a tab on everyone’s profile with a list of links to all of the past scam reports they’ve participated in. Whether as the OP or the person onto whom the scam report was filed.
Maybe a little icon can appear in said tab, if any of them are currently open.

A tab on the user page, above the post thread rep tabs maybe with a large tab like a rectangle saying a scam report is open on him atm

I do think it would be nice having something like this, but it just has to be implemented in a manner that doesn't completely dissuade people from dealing with someone when fake scam reports are filed. But I would agree, it could prevent a lot of exit scamming as some users fail to leave neutral reps or profile messages about active deals which enables users to exit scam, several different people.

maybe a red or orange tab saying "ALERT: This member has an open scam report, click here to see[DOUBLEPOST=1562969981][/DOUBLEPOST]instead of this announcement tab we can have that thing, it'll change the way ppl exit scam trust me

As other people have said, this has been suggested and denied in the past. Since the time this suggestion was made we have implemented a scam reports tab which serves this purpose pretty well.
