Scam Report Nofitication.

So when 2FA was enforced by BeBosny, There was a small popup on the bottom right corner asking you to use the 2FA and will be gone once enabled. What i was thinking was if we could do the same but with Scam reports.

What for exactly..? To notify people that they have a scam report against them? If so, they're notified when @'d in the scam report. If they ignore it, that's their choice and just further proves they don't care about being banned.

If you get 20 notifications daily, it may be quite easy to miss a scam report notification among them.
Also, there have been instances of bugs with the notifications.

Ah. Makes sense. Thanks for clarifying . I think something like maybe eh.. the idea op posted about, but make it where you can't do anything until you resolve the scam report? Forces them to take action on it

There has been soo many suggestion of like what you said which have all been denied because what if they scam report was on an impersonator and the guy on the forum cant post anything.

That does make sense too. Hm. Well even if it's an impersonator, it would be great to clear it up instantly.

Seems like a great idea, but honestly, there's already 2 alerts they get (wall comment and a tag), and I'm guessing around 99% of the time someone will notice if there's a scam report made against them. If the scammer is a newer member, then they'll have less notifications which means they'd probably check the few ones they have. If it's a more experienced person, then that person will be used to checking all alerts and will be able to notice it anyways

Either way, this has no obvious downsides and would be a pretty cool quality-of-life addition.

What if there's more than one scam report? Do they all get compiled together or?..

I mean if there were more than 1 scam report, they are most likely exit scamming and which they wouldnt care.

I personally don't think that if this was implemented that they should have the ability to turn it off, it should be there permanently until the scam report is closed. They should have that notfication there every second of every day reminding them that they need to respond to that report and resolve the sitiuation.
