Scammed $280

Hey so I bought from this guy on discord and he was going to make me a custom prison server with multiple custom builds and features. I pay him $140 for the first payment and he shows progress updates etc. I send the other half when he's completed and he sends me random files and says here you go I look at them and say this isn't it and then he sends a few more and all of them were wrong. He stopped responding. I asked for a refund on the server setup due to that I never got it and he hasn't responded. I paid through paypal balance f&f I am getting on a vpn and logging into my paypal and am going to call tonight saying its an unauthorized payment or should I say that the dude scammed me and be truthful do they listen?

No u do not open it as a unauthorized transaction because your bank will investigate it and it takes 30-90 days for a response. I recommend speaking to your bank and say that you got scammed and you would like to open a dispute with paypal against the person you gave it to and if they deny it you have no hope but GL.

You can dispute f&f but only as unauthorized payment and not "item didn't receive" or "product wasn't as described." However, you still need to make your acc look like it was tampered with if you want to win the unauthorized payment dispute

sorry to say, even if you try your hardest paypal wont do shit. you paid F&F and it will stay in his paypal still due to the fact you paid f&f.
maybe make a scam report on him.

if you pay f&f using a vpn at the time, you can turn the vpn off after and report it as an unauthorized transaction and chargeback.

Guide:
1.Turn on VPN.
2. Erase all cookies in your browser with CCleaner.
3. Make a report that someone hacked to you Paypal account and stole the money.
