This is happening too often, but just got exit scammed again by Joshuaa. Will provide proof tomorrow when edited the video I recorded, but user has an M9 Tiger Tooth which he is selling.

Wouldnt really call it an exit scam, he didn't really have a lot of reputation or anything, did he? That'd make him a normal scammer, he's not nearly a big enough deal to be an 'exit scammer'.

The difference between a scammer and an exit scammer is that scammers are just sacks of shit that come on, try to get as much money together as possible, and then get banned/leave.
An exit scammer is a person that used to be a respected/trusted member of the community, but has had enough of the site and decides to make some profit at the cost of others.
Doesn't stop either of them being terrible people, but it's important to keep in mind.
Normal scammers can be avoided relatively easily by not trusting them too far, but exit scammers are nearly impossible to avoid because you can't really know if someone's gonna exit scam before they start doing it.[DOUBLEPOST=1492981441][/DOUBLEPOST]

It does matter. It doesnt make him a better or worse person, he's still a sad piece of shit. But normal scams are relatively easy to prevent if you know how to (this does NOT imply that this is in any way your fault!), while exit scams are nearly unstoppable and thus a far larger thread.
