A user created 2 new discords, 1 was called Humax and the other was called Oliver.
The scammer messaged the (REAL) Oliver account using the (FAKE) humax account saying he would like to buy something from the user. In the mean time he used (FAKE) Oliver account to buy something from myself, He told me to PM him on side saying "Talking to oliver on discord" but on his other account he already told the (REAL) oliver Im about to message you on site saying "Talking to oliver on discord".
His plan was to make it look like OLIVER was buying a custom build from me on site while trying to get me to confirm it on site.
Here is how the convo went:
HOW TO PREVENT THIS TYPE OF SCAM.
Never PM on site using the same message they ask you to use. In this case I was asked to use "Please pm me saying "Talking with Oliver on discord please"" instead PM asking them to confirm the details.
Basically he tried to make it look like we were talking to each other when in reality we wern't.
