It's simple. Although selling cape codes is not allowed on the market, scamming with them should still be banable. Scamming is scamming.

If I remember correctly, I have seen people make scam reports when they get scammed with alt accounts and the scam report continues like normal, just that both parties recieve warning points for breaking the rules. Might be wrong tho

What are you trying to suggest? Scamming is already bannable so I don't see a difference with cape codes.

You don't get banned when you scam someone with a cape code.

Tentacion did it and isn't banned.

Why this isn't bannable blows my mind, it's ridiculous that people can scam others and because the item is against the rules, they don't get banned.

I've banned people who've attempted to scam with a cape code and I would as well even if they succeeded. (Might've even done that already, I've banned a lot of people so idk)

Was a scam report ever opened? If the evidence was sufficient, I'm sure he'd be banned.

The evidence was sufficent but it was closed because selling cape codes was not allowed.[DOUBLEPOST=1498927609][/DOUBLEPOST]

Do you have a link? All I could find is a scam report of him backing out of a deal. If there truly was good evidence and he wasn't banned, I'd talk to M6 if not ban him myself but I can't find such a scam report.

Doge

In my opinion I provided more than enough proof but that's just me. I could easily gather more if needed but my scam report was invalid due to cape codes not being allowed.

Banned, now he's trying to give people alts to +rep him, absolutely ridiculous. Scammers don't belong here.

thank you lol, after submitting 2 denied scam report attempts hes finally gone cheers

No problem. I'm going to talk to m6 about it still because I think it's best to apply warning points rather than to allow scammers to get away as a means of discouraging sales of prohibited items.

The problem with cape codes is that there's no way for us to tell if a cape code was redeemed before or after it was given to a buyer, which is also why they're not allowed to be sold on the site.
