well this cannot even be an imaginable scenario as if they did it I am sure they wouldn't ever hear the end of it.

Not enough people would complain, most (who don't have capes) wouldn't really care.

$15 for a 2011? I really doubt this would happen.

Yeah you get a gold mojang fall themed cape on Bedrock edition if you buy the founders edition right now. Nothing for Java though.

Exactly why I haven't gotten into cape accounts. As someone who's in the PE community and has seen practically everything get monetized, I have no doubts they'll try to do this with Java too.

Highly doubt they would dare monetize Java the way they did with Bedrock.
