What the project is:
Task 3 –animation
You have been asked to design and create an animated banner which will be placed on your personal website as an advertisement for an Extreme Sport company. You will be required to create your animated banner using Adobe Animate. The final size of the banner should be between 800 x 100 pixels to 1000 x 300 pixels.
The animated banner should be approximately 20 seconds in length and be able to be looped. It must include examples of text, frame-by-frame animation, tweening and movie clip symbols.
The animated banner is to be embedded into your website in .swf file format
Marks will be awarded for design, originality and creativity.
You are required to research currently available banner advertisements providing an overview of the advertisement, URL of advertisement, positives, negatives and implications it has had on your project (i.e. how did it influence your design?).
You are required to produce a ‘production and working drawing’ (annotated storyboard) which documents the keyframes for your animated banner. In class we have been completing activities using Adobe Animate. Your task is to use these activities and skills to enhance your own animations.
You are to document the skills/features you have used in Adobe Animate to achieve your animation. Use screen shots (to save to clipboard press Alt + Print Screen and then paste into your Word doc.) and annotate to provide evidence of project management including a record of the production of the project.
