Screen Recorder For MAC

Anyone know a good FREE screenrecorder for mac that has minimal lag, no watermarks.

Not OBS or Quicktimeplayer.

Screenflow is a paid one, the freetrial has a water mark, i did clearly say i wanted a free one without watermarks.

On OBS, what settings have you tried? It was laggy at 720p 60fps for me until I switched to game capture, at which point I could go all the way up to 1080p 150FPS. Make sure you're using game capture and recording with either NVENC or x264 (ONLY ULTRAFAST, the default veryfast is EXTREMELY slow)

That's weird, I use it on a MacBook Air and it's much better than any other screen recorder since it doesn't make me lag at all.

I remember having troubles with recording on a Mac back when I still used Apple computers. None of the options available are good and they often caused a noticeable amount of lag. QuickTime is honestly the best free recorder you’ll find. You just have to optimize it for whatever you’re recording. Screenflow is alright but it’s not free (although you could torrent it.)
