Hello everyone! I am looking to become staff/management on a server. I have a lot of experience with being staff on multiple big servers in the past and would love to extend my experience to another server. It has been a while since I was a staff, and recently I decided that I would like to get back into it. My experience is as follows:
Mineward: Mineward was a minigame based server, which was a work in progress. I had applied for Helper and then was offered the Admin position after my application was read through. This is one of the servers I have learned the most from. Here, I ran the Moderators. I would make the Moderator staff guidelines (essentially rules, how to punish, what not to do, etc.) and make sure that everyone was doing their job properly. I made a system on demoting staff members who were not doing their jobs correctly. It was a 3 warning point system, and then a demotion. I learned how to stand up and demote people despite what they would think of me. There, I had also run community management. Community management was a team that wanted to make sure that the community got the best out of the server. We would come up with fun events, make up the public rules, and overall make the community a fun place to be, and having the staff interact more with the community. After a while however, I had decided to resign.
Noble Craft: This is the server that I had been with for the most. I applied for Helper about a week after joining the server, and to my surprise I was invited for an interview. The interview went well, and I was accepted within a week. Here I went through the standard 1 month trial, and had learned a lot about moderating large communities. After about a month of being a Helper, I had passed my Helper test, and was promoted to Moderator. I learned how to punish people, (bans, mutes, warnings, etc.) and I knew better how to communicate to those breaking the rules. I learned how to get sufficient evidence to issue a punishment, and I had a lot of fun. After a while, they had opened the applications team, and I decided to join. There, I went through all staff applications, wrote my opinions on them, and discussed them with the other application team member. If we had decided to give them an interview, I would go on teamspeak with them and interview them. This taught me how to talk to new people and ask them questions. I was not afraid to reject people that had sent in applications that did not meet the standards, and I learned that as well. Sadly, after almost a year on their staff team, I was demoted due to inactivity. My laptop had broken but they did not give me enough time to get a new computer.
Verenity/Venix:
Starting out as a UHC host, I worked my way up to eventually becoming a Senior Moderator/host. On Venix I would train new hosts, and manage games, supervising and making sure that everything was running smoothly. I was used to about 200-fill games, making sure that there were no cheaters or anything of the sort, maintaining chat, supervising my hosts, etc. This lasted for a while, but eventually the server was sold to someone and I did not want a part of it - so I ended up leaving.
Grizzly Network:
I was a senior moderator on grizzly network, being owned by xNestorio is was fairly popular, and I was in charge of screen sharing people, making sure that everything was running good, and I was also training new people. This server was at a constant 400 player base, and it was fun to manage some staff on this big server. I trained people on how to screen share, and what they needed to do to get promoted.
Badlion:
I was a UHC host on Badlion for a bit, running games, I would host fairly frequently. I am used to the number of people on a server and do well under pressure.
