I think Premiums/Supremes have their own section for selling accounts. It will help to protect them as sellers. Only Premiums and Supremes should be able to see the threads, to protect them from just regular users. It would help us to protect our accounts from Marc_IRL.

It would protect us, but it's no different then having white only water fountains. There would also be less potential buyers.

I like this idea. Now people like Avgars (the guy who told dannyBstyle about the cape) can piss off.

+1 Agree

Would also make users be pushed more to buy the ranks.

So a privileged section? With all of my experience with forums, my understanding is the site should provide merely the guidance of "use your common sense". I think when you start doing that it ends up turning into a much different community, and even if it might not be the aim it really brings me back memories of a couple of sites that have reputations for being... ridiculous. They have some of the similar stuff you suggest right now.

I think there just needs to be more emphasis on to not take hasty decisions, and if the deal is too good to be real then it might just be that - too good to be real. I think more than the forum regulating more, I think the users need to know how to deal safely, and that's a trait that helps further in life.

As far as it goes, I really wouldn't support this with my experience with forums. I think the marketplace should be accessible to all, with an emphasis on safe trading. That said, a post restriction or rating restriction before you are able to become involved with the marketplace is a good idea. Something DigitalPoint (www.digitalpoint.com, one of the biggest digital content sites/marketplaces) did is restrict parts of the marketplace to premium members entirely, and that's something that's a good idea. Perhaps just restrict account selling to premium members altogether? If it's that big of a problem you could do that, but Minecraft is a game where account verification isn't a problem and neither is safe trading. Something better is a list of approved MCM "middlemen", and to increase trust MCM takes some sort of liability there to ensure that the middlemen they approve of are really trusted, so staff members and the like. The account is held to the middlemen, the payment goes through as normal and once clear the middleman hands the account over, but does not intervene in the payment at all, so chargebacks must be dealt by the two parties.

Basically you're saying new members are scammers... and that you premium fellows are so high class and stuff..
what if we're to poor to afford to buy premium or don't want to waste our money on a thread site?
Actually this was more aimed at the fact that @Marc_IRL may come to the site and try to get the accounts back and take them from us. That's also the + though. Usually we are more reputable because we support the site, but no, it doesn't mean some of us aren't scammers. Scammers are banned though.
