ScavengerCraft is a Minecraft server that aims to deliver a truly unique Factions and PvP experience to a diverse playerbase. The group closed in 2016 and was recently re-founded in 2020 under new leadership. We currently run a small staff team of less than 10 people and are looking to grow our playerbase to reach more people from all over the world.
Reminder:
This is currently a volunteer, unpaid position. However, there is potential for future compensation. In the event that pay is offered, a legally binding contract will be presented.
Responsibilities
As the marketing director, you will be exposed to the inner workings of a Minecraft server's administration and moderation teams. You will have the opportunity to build one of the better known and perhaps one of the biggest Factions servers in the Minecraft community. You will also be given the ability to build a marketing team that both ensures we deliver on our goals, but also provides the foundation to scale rapidly and expand globally.
You will:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to accelerate the growth of the community and playerbase, keeping within the goals of the organization
Create and propagate a brand message that will resonate with our target demographic
Work closely with the organization's partners
Assist with and provide guidance in administrative decisions that will affect all players
Requirements
Experience in the marketing field
English speaking
Excellent communication skills both in verbal and written form
Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines
