Seeking long-term sysadmin help

Hi there!

BayCraft is a small, but well-funded, Minecraft community for players in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I’m looking to hire a long-term sysadmin. Example tasks include:

• Manage 1.16 migration (track availability of plugin upgrades, pre-cutover backups, upgrade server and plugins, monitor for problems)
• Lag/performance investigation and optimization
• Troubleshooting plugin bugs, including coordinating with plugin developers on fixes as needed
• Coordinating with non-technical mod team
• Keeping detailed changelogs

Strong communication skills, follow-through, and attention to detail are a must.

I’m looking for someone willing to bill hourly. Happy to commit to a monthly minimum.
