Few things:

This isn't a public script/source right?
How long have you had the site up?
Do you have proof that it was custom coded and/or contact with the original developer of the website?

This isn't a public script/source right? No.
How long have you had the site up? Around 3 months.
Do you have proof that it was custom coded and/or contact with the original developer of the website? How can we prove it's custom coded?

They do look very similar I'm not going to lie.
We hired a few extra developers at first to help make the layout with us as if myself and my friend did it by ourselves it would've probably taken months and we needed things to get a bit quicker. They came out with the initial layout of the website, SVG icons and admin panel then we paid them around $600 in total then we took it from there. However myself looking deeper into this it does indeed seem like a layout has been bought.

It literally looks the exact same? For example there is zero difference in the search bar?

Upon a quick source code check, seems like it's PlayTube with a custom theme called "bongovid" (I assume it's custom since I wasn't able to find anything about it on Google).
Maybe even more customization under the hood.

Nothing wrong with that though, not sure why everyone's going crazy over it.
If anything, it'll be a secure, supported, updated & expandable platform that works.

Well I mean it loses a lot of value because it's not custom written. How much are you ideally looking for?

If anything, the contrary.

If you look up some more info on website flipping you'll find out websites that are based on a popular CMS are usually more sought-after and higher-priced.
A publicly available CMS doesn't make it any less valuable. It ensures fixing issues will be easy, updates will be frequently available at minimal cost and expansions will be easy to implement for very little money.
Custom code on the other hand requires a lot of effort to maintain and update by a developer who can actually invest time into learning how it's all put together and a lot of testing to patch potential security hazards.

Code is code, doesn't matter if it's custom or publicly available. What matters is how it performs, and how easy and/or costly it is to maintain.
