Hello,

I seen tons of threads were people bid on a product and then back out.

Could we not have 2 rules:

1.
The seller needs to add a date for when the auction ends.

2.
The buyer needs to look at the date, if the buyer is 100% sure about the product, and is also sure he has the money now and until the date the auction end, then he can throw a bid.

Also i think that bids should not be able to just back out, imagine if someone from ebay says
"Sorry, i don't want it no more" after the auction has ended.

I think the admins could ban people that back out, or maybe give warnings and after 3 warnings you get banned.

If this will be a perm ban or just a temp ban is something we can discuss.


So what do you guys think?

For sure. I guess people don't understand that a "bid" is a confirmation to buy the product. If you bid, you agree that you have the money to buy the product. You also agree that you won't back out.

For sure. I guess people don't understand that a "bid" is a confirmation to buy the product. If you bid, you agree that you have the money to buy the product. You also agree that you won't back out.

Exactly. If you constantly bid and then back out you will have serious problems in future.

Its extremely annoying when the OP doesn't put an end date, or does but never goes by the date.

Yes, that was my rule Hashtag 1. If you brake that just call them SignupRuleBraker.

Reserve price/minimum bid/definite end date if those aren't reached are definitely needed in builds. Some mines for like $5 and are 2 week auctions

Yes. If someone says ends tomorrow and you bid 5, and it's gone more then 24 hours, it's not your fault, then you should not need to pay.

Well that's fair enough because it's the BIN, I don't see people asking over their original price -- when the price is under the BIN they try extending the time frame or wait etc
