I've never purchased a domain before, other than directly through namecheap. Could someone fill me in on what's involved?

You buy the domain.
Seller transfers domain to you.
You own domain.

Then you continue the monthly payments as usual?

Very interesting domains. Especially the Mineslam.org, but I am sure if anyone purchased that they'd get a DMCA thrown at them.

A copyright wouldn't matter as long as the domain was purchased before a written, approved document was made. In this case Mineslam has NOT yet had a copyright approved therefor they cant throw a DMCA at them.

All of my domains are yearly payments on Namecheap, so you don't have to worry about another payment for a while.
