Registered in February of this year, PrismHost LLC was my vision of a properly ran hosting company. The initial goal was to create a community-oriented company which strived to create a positive atmosphere. As soon as I received the investment from my parents to begin the company, I started to have my logo completed as well as a website developed. When everything was completed, I had a fully functional hosting service that offered both Minecraft and web hosting solutions. I had invested a lot of time into the project to make sure everything was nice. I had become a sponsor of our local Little League, printed t-shirts, created business cards, I was ready.

The problem was that I hadn't been involved in the hosting industry for roughly two years or so. Things had most certainly changed, and I don't think I was ready for what I walked into. I couldn't compete with the $1/GB market for Minecraft and there was already plenty of web hosting solutions out there. To be frank, I really didn't do much marketing. Either way, it just wasn't the industry for me anymore.

I truly believe, however, that the right person can make PrismHost what it should have been. It's with that, that I announce I will be selling PrismHost in hopes of pursuing further ventures outside of the Minecraft industry. If purchased, the owner can expect to receive:

  • Full rights to anything related to PrismHost
  • The domain name
  • Website and custom WHMCS theme (can show based on request since I don't have hosting right now for it)
  • The sponsorship banner at our local LL which will remain for the rest of the summer
  • All graphics work completed
  • Facebook and Twitter accounts

I've become really attached to the project but I believe it's time to move on.

Please don't waste my time; serious inquiries only. Please PM me or add me on Discord (Boycot#0001)

Highest offer: $350. Looking for a little over $400.

Thanks,
Maxx B.

What's a starting bid on this looking like? Also, will there be an LLC transfer or is that yet to be created?

The company is registered however I will not be transferring the LLC. I've already filed to change the name to my newest venture. I'm not doing bids, just PM me with an offer and we'll chat.[DOUBLEPOST=1530581314][/DOUBLEPOST]

I feel a company should most definitly be sold to ONLY users that will continue the service. Not take pieces of it all and remove the rest. I am more than happy to continue to grow this company for you. In that event I think I may put $40 in.

I do understand you definitly paid way more than that in the beginning, but my main aim is not to spend my money on the entire company, it is to spend money on improvments.

Local little league sponsor? I may need to get in on this for Sparked

Adding onto this, did your Little League make this sign for you for free? Cause I know my little league has many sponsors and they have signs like this.

The sponsorship fee for my LL is $150/yr and for the first year that includes the creation of the sign. Not sure how other Little Leagues do it.[DOUBLEPOST=1530647855][/DOUBLEPOST]

Hey Mitch,

I'm afraid you'll most likely need more than $40 to continue the company.

If you do not have any luck selling, I'll purchase for $200 in a week. Let me know with a PM.

$150? Yikes your little league ain’t nice. I won an MVP in my Little League days and umpire for them so I’d guess a sponsorship with mine would be probably free and only would need to pay for the banner.

Hm. We won the LLWS two years ago and from what I understand they raised the price after that.
